First Day
Upon arrival at Molino di Foci... we suggest, weather permitting, that you relax on our terrace or by the pool, appreciating the peace and quiet all around, sipping a glass of excellent wine (Chianti or Vernaccia) or whatever else you might prefer.
Then you can begin discovering San Gimignano, famous for its towers, as well as for being one the most magical and romantic places in the area.
Here you will find the old town, just waiting to welcome you with ... squares, medieval buildings, museums, towers and the beautiful Duomo, where you can admire the most wonderful paintings.
There are numerous shops and characteristic venues along the main streets, but if you’d rather avoid the crowds of tourists, we suggest you experience the innermost lanes of San Gimignano, with the less well-known squares where the shops offer a warmer welcome and better service. We also recommend the path around the walls, where you’ll be even happier that you’ve chosen to stay in San Gimignano.
For the evening we are able to offer you two possibilities:
Monday - Wednesday - Friday (from May to September) we organise typical Tuscan dinners using fresh ingredients bought daily at the market (antipasto, first course, main course, side dish and dessert for 20 euros) or you might like to start with a restaurant in or near San Gimignano.
