Sixth Day
This will be a long day but there are two beautiful cities which we think are well worth visiting: Pisa and Lucca.
We advise you to take the road across the hills, which will get you directly to Pisa in about 60 minutes.
The only interesting thing is the Main Square with the Tower, so your visit should be quite short. The carpark is near Piazza dei Miracoli and can be found by following the signs for the “torre”.
When your visit is over, take the motorway to Lucca.
This is a beautiful town surrounded by walls which you can visit by bicycle, and of course there are bicycles available to hire.
The inside of the town is very pretty, with its special square positioned in the centre.
From Lucca we advise you to take the motorway to Florence and then the highway from Florence to Siena, making your way back to us.
After such a long day we recommend that you stay at Molino di Foci. If dinner is being served you can enjoy our cuisine, otherwise you could have a tasty snack accompanied by a bottle of good wine before going to bed.
